Kělašín - nahorní plošina v jižním Kurdistánu (v Iráku) u hranic s Kurdistánem východním (v Íránu) a severním (v Turecku), se od jara do podzimu stává přechodným domovem stovek rodin, které sem přícházejí z vesnic v údolích pást stáda ovcí. Podobně jako Walid, rodiny žijí ve stanech z husté černé vlny a usínají každou noc s myšlenkami na to, jestli se rano probudí. Navzdory útokům dvou armád vyzbrojených sofistikovanými zbraněmi, rodiny se každé jaro vrací zpátky na Kělašín, tak jako to dělali jejich předkové od nepaměti. Vzdor odvěkého života proti novodobé smrti.

Kêlaşîn is a vast plateau in Southern Kurdistan (in Iraq) on the borders with Eastern Kurdistan (in Iran) and Northern Kurdistan (in Turkey). From spring to autumn, it serves as temporary home for hundreds of families who come here from villages in the valleys to graze their flocks of sheep and goats. Like Walid, the families live in tents made of thick black wool and go to sleep each night thinking about whether they would wake up in the morning. Despite the attacks of two armies armed with sophisticated weapons, families return to Kêlaşîn every spring, just as their ancestors have done since time immemorial.
